Jeny Teheran is a Computer Security Analyst at Fermilab.
She takes care of operational security at Open Science Grid solving security incidents and keeping up with the current vulnerabilities and increasing threats to scientific infrastructures. She also does cybersecurity research for Scientific Computing Division at Fermilab learning about new authentication and authorization mechanisms. She holds a Master of Science in Systems and Computing Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering.
She participates in many outreach initiatives, especially ones focused on bringing more women into computing careers. That’s why she is an instructor for Girls Who Code program at Metea Valley High School since fall 2015, where she teaches coding to young girls and encourages them to pursue a STEM degree.
