Build the Dream: STEM conference 2017

Only 80 Latina girls in 7th, 8th and 9th grade with one mother/father or mentor  get this chance to hear amazing Latina women in the STEM fields share their stories of overcoming difficulties to achieve great things.

The conference will take place on Saturday, April 29th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, located in Wilson Street & Kirk Road, Batavia, IL, 60510. Please arrive 15 minutes early to have time to register. Adults who will drive the girls will be required to show a photo ID (Passport, Driver License or Consular Identification Card) at the Fermi checkpoint.

Our conference if free of charge. Girls, please come prepared to wear the official conference t-shirt during the day’s events.

Free lunch will be provided. If you have food allergies, please pack a breakfast/lunch. We are unable to accommodate special dietary needs for individual attendees.
